MARISQUIÑO 2026
From Vigo and with 25 years of history, Marisquiño has established itself as one of Europe’s leading references in action sports and urban culture festivals. From August 6 to 9, the city will once again transform into a large open-air stage where sport, music, and art come together.
The 2026 edition will bring together 1,500 athletes from more than 30 countries, nearly 60 artists, and is expected to exceed 150,000 attendees.
The program includes eight sports disciplines, three of them Olympic, along with two adapted modalities that position Marisquiño as a pioneering event in their inclusion. The competitions combine open participation formats, aimed at both professionals and amateurs, with invitations to some of the top-ranked riders in international rankings. In 2026, the festival will host scoring events for the World Cup Skateboarding and the FIBA 3x3 circuit. In addition, disciplines such as BMX, Big Air, Freestyle Motocross, Mountain Bike, Flatland, and Breaking will continue to be part of the program.
Urban culture completes the lineup with concerts, DJs, freestyle rap battles, and graffiti actions. On Thursday, the Family Day will take place, featuring a program of activities designed for children and young audiences.
What makes the festival unique
Marisquiño stands out for integrating sport, music, and art in an exceptional seaside setting: in addition to its main location near Samil Beach facing the iconic Cíes Islands, it also features an urban MTB downhill through the historic city center.
